Durham KO Scots in Friends match
DURHAM ended Scotland's hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the Friends Provident Trophy with a 46-run win in a match affected by Duckworth-Lewis at the Citylets Grange.
Durham had made 181-9 with Ben Harmison top scoring on 29, while John Blain captured 3-31.
But the Scots were only able to muster 52-5 – 46 runs short of the amended target.
However, it wasn't all good news for Durham, who lost bowler Neil Killeen to injury.
Coach Geoff Cook will be hoping the key bowler won't be missing for any length of time.
