Hebburn face more promotion favourites

HEBBURN Town are hoping to maintain their improved form of late when they travel to Horden tomorrow.
Having beaten big-spending Sunderland RCA at the weekend, Tony Robinson's side take on another one of the favourites for promotion.
Horden finished last season like an express train, hurtling up the table and only just missing out on promotion.
And although they have had a mixed start to this campaign, they are still hotly-tipped to finish in one of the top-three places come the end of the season.
Not that Hebburn should be concerned. having followed up their 3-3 draw with Roofing – in which only two late goals denied them victory – they beat RCA 4-3 at the weekend in a thrilling game.
There's obviously a concern with how many goals Hebburn are leaking – 17 in five league goals, along with five more against Shields in the FA Cup – and Robinson will be hoping to have expereinced defenders available for the trip to Horden.
Colin Nesbitt, Colin Neil and Paul Donaghy were all ruled out of the RCA victory, and Stuart Pattison also didn't figure, meaning 39-year-old coach Joe Donaghy was forced to step into the breach.
