HEBBURN travel to Old Record Players in Newcastle tomorrow looking for their seventh consecutive Northumberland League Division Two win.

Hebburn will be looking to extend their lead at the top against a side who are struggling this season.

However, ORP have made some recent signings to strengthen their batting and bowling attack, so there will be no room for complacency in the
Hebburn camp.

Hebburn will be without leading wicket-taker Darren Simpson (work), but are delighted to welcome back fit-again Simon Whitehead.

The league leaders will be also keen to get a morale-boosting win going into their Twenty20 Cup final on Tuesday against Ulgham Village.

Hebburn will take a lot of confidence from the fact that they have already beaten Ulgham in the league this season, although Twenty20 is a different kettle of fish.

Both sides possess depth in the batting department, but Hebburn will be hoping to edge the contest with their more potent bowling attack and athleticism in the field.

Captain Lee Tatum said: "We find ourselves in an excellent position at the top of the league and in a cup final, so have the opportunity to go for a double.

"We'll concentrate on our league fixture first before giving our all in the cup final."
