KATY McLean is hoping she and her England team-mates can pass their screen test with flying colours tomorrow.
The South Shields-born rugby star, looks set to start at No10 as the Lions take on world champions New Zealand.
The clash, which is live on Sky TV, takes place at Twickenham – the home of rugby – straight after Martin Johnson's XV battle it out wi
th the All Blacks.
It's a huge game, and 23-year-old McLean admits it offers the ideal chance for England's women to show what they're all about.
She said; "The women's game has really moved on over the last few years, players are real athletes, and they have excellent skills.
"The fact that this game follows the men's clash, and is being shown on live TV, gives us a chance to show people how good we are, and showcase the women's game.
"It's an incredible opportunity, and playing at Twickenham is amazing."
Of course, to show off their well-honed skills, England will first have to deal with the small matter of putting New Zealand in the shade.
The Kiwis beat England 16-3 last weekend. Katy admits that England were far from their best, and says she'd like nothing better than bouncing back tomorrow.
"I don't know if we were slightly nervous about playing them last weekend, but the good thing is that's out of the way now.
"They were the better side and deserved to win, but we didn't play anywhere near as well as we can.
"Now we have a chance to put that right. It's up to us to play our own game, get back to basics and do the simple things well.
"While the performance and the result were disappointing last week, the game showed that they are beatable.
"It won't be easy, but it is not impossible, and we know that now. If we play to our best we have a shot.
"Hopefully, people will stay behind after the men's game to support us and cheer us on.
"There's no better place to play rugby than at Twickenham. We trained there the other day, and the surface was like a carpet, and with a good crowd the atmosphere should be superb."
