JARROW are scheduled to host Hartlepool in the Wearside League, but are looking to reverse the game if their pitch is unplayable.
Boss Dave Bell said: "It's looking likely that ours is going to be off, so Hartlepool have asked if we can play it at
theirs.
"We want it to go ahead so we don't have a free weekend."
Bell includes new signings Gary Taylor and Lee O'Neill, who has joined from Hebburn Town, in his squad, but Daryl Turnbull is injured and Declan Tilson and Christie Elliott are doubts with groin injuries.
BOLDON CA have a full squad available for their home game with Houghton, which will be played on the artificial pitch at Gateshead Stadium after their pitch was left unplayable after this week's deluge.
In the Northern Alliance Division One, SHIELDS UNITED travel to Berwick with boss Gareth Allen warning his players not to be complacent.
Shields sit fifth in the table, while Berwick are second-bottom, with only two wins all season.
Allen said: "Berwick are an awkward team to play, they are scrapping for their lives down there, which makes the game tricky.
"We know we have enough to go and get three points, but we can't simply expect it to happen."
Shields have selection problems in defence with Ryan Shave and Carl Rutherford unavailable, but Phil Enlund and Kyle Yorston both return to the squad, while Michael Pittuck also hopes to be involved after a knee injury.
HEBBURN REYROLLE, meanwhile, look to continue their fine form when they travel to Chopwell for a league fixture.
Mark Collingwood's side made it seven games unbeaten when they beat Peterlee on Saturday, and could find a place for strikers Ray Oshin and Marc Haire, who both came off the bench after injury.
Collingwood said: "Chopwell are hitting form at present, and this will be a huge test for our young squad.
"However, we are now going into games with the mentaility that we can beat any side on our day."
SIMONSIDE are in Durham Alliance action away to second-placed Whitehill, and welcome back Adam Henson and captain David Scroggins.
Sima are still hit with injuries, however, but boss Gordon Diamond has told his side not to feel sorry for themselves.
He said: "Whitehill play good football and always field their strongest team against us. We still have quite a few injuries, but it is time to stop moaning and show our true spirit.
"We must go there with a positive attitude and give a good account of ourselves, and let them know they have been in a game."
