Sunderland reject striker loan move

SUNDERLAND have turned down Cardiff City's bid to sign Michael Chopra on loan until the end of the season.
The former Bluebirds hit-man, who joined Premiership Sunderland in a transfer worth £5m last summer, is far from a first-team regular and Cardiff have made a firm enquiry.

But Black Cats' manager Roy Keane will not budge and wants to keep his players as Sunderland battle to stay in the top flight.
