Arsenal hope to sign Colombian star while another Liverpool ace set to leave

ARSENAL have stepped up their transfer activity in recent weeks, with the Gunners looking to compete for the Premier League title next season.

After completing the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, the Gunners look set to follow that up with a number of other acquisitions.

They are just one of the clubs to have made today’s transfer headlines, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur among the other sides to make the headlines.

It is relatively quiet on the Sunderland front, but they look set to miss out on former loanee Ki Sung-Yueng, who is expected to join Aston Villa from Swansea City. (The Telegraph)
