Dial-A Cab get first win in U9s

THE result of the day in the U9s Division One was new side South Tyneside Dial-A-Cab's first win of the campaign against AC Raiders.

White and Ullah scored in style, with Hunter replying for the Raiders.

Whiteleas Brazil won 3-0 against St Cuthbert's. Goals from Winter, Smith and Collinson sealed the win.

FC Sparta are a point clear at the top after their 2-0 victory over Jarrow Boys FC Blues.

Tudor was outstanding at the back for Sparta, who had the impressive Houston to thank for both their goals.

Harraton Athletic Greens go into fifth spot after a fine 5-0 win over a brave Hebburn Town Gold.

Smith and Lang netted for Athletic, along with a superb hat-trick from Hutchinson.

In a really tight game, Consett Cannons beat Ryhope CW 2-1.

Nunn netted well for Ryhope, with Stewart and Jackson getting the all-important goals for Consett.

In the Premier Divison, Leam Rangers moved up into third spot after their very good 4-1 win over Consett Cougars.

Kennedy netted for the Durham side, but goals from Brown, Seddon, Hewson and Prudhoe gave the Gateshead side the points.

In the Leam derby, it was the Yellows who came out on top against the Rascals to the tune of 4-0.

On the scoresheet were Caisley, Green and Readman with a fine double, which capped a good team performance.

In the Monkton derby, the Reds got the better of the Yellows to win a game 3-1, which was played in great spirit.

Anderson netted well for the Yellows, but a Gordon strike and a brace from Whitfield gave Reds the win.
