Liverpool will be hoping to break back into the Premier League's top four this season - and possibly launch a title bid.

As part of that, they have been linked with a number of players in the transfer market, with a Premier League champion one of the latest names mentioned in connection with the Anfield club.

They are just one of the sides to have made today's headlines, though, with Sunderland, Manchester United and Chelsea among the other clubs to feature.
