Moussa Sissoko's representatives have been approached by Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in France.
The midfielder is preparing for France's Euro 2016 semi-final against Germany tomorrow.
And Sissoko refused to talk about his future in the wake of Newcastle United's relegation ahead of the game.
But it has been claimed in France that Liverpool and Dortmund have sounded out Sissoko's representatives about a possible summer transfer.
United manager Rafa Benitez this week insisted that he wanted Sissoko to stay at St James's Park.
Benitez is under no pressure to sell any of the club's big names.
And it would take a bid in excess of £20million to persuade Newcastle to sell the 26-year-old, who captained Benitez's side in the final weeks of last season.
