Boldon CA have an injury crisis ahead of their TWR Bi Folds Wearside Football League home game with Redcar Athletic.
Striker Kriss Goss is ruled out with an ankle injury, while centre midfielder Frankie Hucks has a knee problem.
Wing back James Pickering and captain Jack Lawton are both also ruled out with foot injuries.
Squad players are now having to step in and make a strong claim for a starting place.
However on a good note, midfielder Tom West returns and is likely to start.
Harton and Westoe CW journey to Darlington Reserves, with club official Kevin Gibson frustrated at the lack of points from the opening weeks.
Gibson said: “We still have nothing to show for three decent performances, but on the scale of things, we have played three of the top six from last season.”
Manager David Crumbie will be without striker Jonathan Matthew, but other than that we will be at full strength.
“There have been some great individual performances this season so far, but it’s time to step up as a team and be counted.”
Hebburn Town Reserves travel to Gateshead Leam Rangers in the first ever Wearside League fixture between the two teams.
Leam Rangers have no suspensions and a debut is likely, for new signing Tommy Alderson and the expected return of Alan Mulholland and Dean McCallum from injury, means they have a very strong squad available.
South Shields Reserves hope to have a full-strength side to select from for the game at Prudhoe.
Several players were unavailable in midweek and should return, while Kane O’Reilly picked up a knock and will have fitness test before the game.
