Jarrow kick-off their TWR Wearside League campaign tomorrow with a home game against Wolviston (2.30pm).

The home team will have to do without Kai Elliott, Aaron Kah, Mark Williams, and Darren Morton, who are all unavailable.

Jarrow also have injury concerns with Jason Pressling, Max Kirkham and Grant Pressling, who are all doubtful.

However, Jarrow have bolstered their numbers with the signings of Jak Wells, Peter Henderson, Liam Clark, Max Kirkham, Aaron Kah, Ross McAuley, Dave Fittis, Nathan Bell and Josh Allen.

Jarrow manager David Bell has also added Chris Hutchinson to his management team in the close season.

Bell said: “I am delighted that Chris Hutchinson has joined us on the management and coaching side.

“Chris is a Uefa B and Youth Module 3 qualified coach and brings great experience and excellent coaching ability to our club.”

On the season, Bell added: “Like all the teams in the league, we will be looking to get off to a good start and we welcome Wolviston for the season opener.

“We have been pleased with our preparations in the summer and now the challenge is to take that into our first game.

“August will be a very busy month as it sees us invloved in 10 games.

“We are delighted with the new additions to our squad and with the lads that have stuck with us.

“This month will be a real test for our squad and the Wolviston game will present a difficult start for us.”
