Andros Townsend says he has NO regrets about joining Newcastle United – despite the club's dire predicament.
Townsend was signed from title-chasing Tottenham Hotspur in January.
And the £12million England international – who hopes to go to Euro 2016 with his country – is now battling to keep Newcastle in the Premier League.
The club is six points adrift of safety with seven games left to play.
“I definitely don’t have any regrets," said the winger, who was in the side beaten 3-2 by Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.
"I’m playing for a massive club and playing Premier League football.
"I’m playing 90 minutes of games, and I’m 100% delighted with the move I made to Newcastle. I’ll give absolutely everything to help this club stay in the league."
