Newcastle United winger Callum Roberts has been called up to the England Under-20 squad.
Roberts, 19, will link up with the Young Lions ahead of their games in the coming week, as they compete in a four-nation tournament.
The Magpies youngster could make his international debut when Paul Williams’ side take on Holland at Oldham Athletic ground tomorrow before facing Germany at Huddersfield on Friday.
England Under-20s round off the tournament with a game against the United States at Rochdale on Monday, with all three games set for a 7pm kick-off.
Roberts – who made his first-team debut in January 2015 against Leicester City in the FA Cup – has been in fine form for Peter Beardsley’s Magpies Under-23 side in recent weeks.
He scored in their Premier League 2 Division Two games against Stoke City and Swansea last month to earn an international call-up.
He joins Newcastle team-mate Adam Armstrong, who is on loan at Championship side Barnsley, in Williams’ squad.
