SHOT-shy West Ham United are targeting a move for a striker who has also been linked with Newcastle United, according to today’s reports.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is due to address his team’s striker shortage by attempting to sign Iceland’s Alfred Finnbogason, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Mirror’s sister paper, the Sunday People, last month claimed Newcastle were interested in the 24-year-old, who plays for Dutch club Heerenveen.
