Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
Reports today suggest Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to add the Dutchman to his squad for the new Premier League season.
A fee of £25million has been mentioned for Wijnaldum, who scored 11 goals for Newcastle last season.
Wijnaludm is keen to move on from the Magpies after their relegation to the Championship, and has been linked with a number of clubs, including Lazio.
But Liverpool appear to have moved to the front of the queue, with suggestions that they hope to agree a fee with Newcastle this week.
The 25-year-old became United's third costliest signing when he joined for £14.5million last summer from PSV Eindhoven.
