Man United eye teen star as Liverpool swoop for Barcelona ace

MANCHESTER United and Liverpool are among the clubs making the transfer headlines today.

With the window due to open tomorrow, the rumours have gone into overdrive – with plenty of stories in the papers.

It’s quiet on the Sunderland and Newcastle front, but the main stories today are:

Manchester United manager David Moyes is considering a £20m move for Luke Shaw in the January transfer window even though Southampton have indicated they will resist all offers for the 18-year-old left-back. Full story: Daily Telegraph
