Besiktas aim to derail Newcastle transfer plans

Reports in Turkey suggest Besiktas are set to enter the race to land Tammy Abraham.

United have agreed an offer with Chelsea, and after talks with the 19-year-old a season-long loan looked set to be signed and sealed.

But no confirmation has been forthcoming, with Brighton and Leicester City said to also be in the running.

Now Fotospor, who broke news of Besiktas' interest in Aleksandar Mitrovic last week, says the club want Abraham.
