The Newcastle United winger, on nine bookings for the season, is a yellow card away from an automatic suspension.
And the cut-off point for bookings is not until April 9.
"I’ve had to bite my tongue a little bit of late," said Ritchie, speaking ahead of tomorrow's game against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium.
