Newcastle United's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest, originally scheduled for New Year's Eve, has been brought forward.
The St James' Park clash will now take place on Friday, December 30 (kick-off 7.45pm).
The move has been arranged in order to ease potential transport issues for supporters.
In total five Magpies' festive fixtures have been switched.
Trips to Forest, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers as well as a home clash with Sheffield Wednesday have all been selected for live broadcast on Sky Sports, around the Christmas period.
The home fixture with Forest is not scheduled to be shown live on any channel.
