Rafa Benitez reveals talks with three Newcastle players in final year of contracts
Vurnon Anita, Yoan Gouffran and Cheick Tiote will all be out of contract at St James's Park next summer.
Anita and Gouffran have been influential figures in the club's Championship campaign so far this season.
Tiote, however, has made just one substitute's appearance.

And Newcastle manager Benitez has revealed he has spoken to Anita, Gouffran and Tiote about their contractual situation.
“I spoke with the three players about a month ago," said Benitez. "I wanted them to know where we are and to make sure there wasn't a problem.
“They are happy, they are training well and they know the situation. There's nothing else to say.

“Maybe something will happen in the future, but they must continue to perform."
Benitez is adamant that Anita and Gouffran will not be leaving in the New Year, though the club will allow Tiote to leave in the January transfer window.
“Selling in January is not something we are considering," added Benitez.
“Each case is different, but we are not looking to lose anyone in January at the moment.”
