PSV Eindhoven will bank just £400,000 from Gini Wijnaldum's sale to Liverpool.
The Newcastle United midfielder is undergoing a medical ahead of a £25million move to Anfield.
Wijnaldum arrived at St James's Park a year ago in a £14.5million move from PSV.
And it had been reported that the Dutch club would be owed around £4million due to a sell-on clause in the deal.
But De Telegraaf in Holland report that the real figure is 500,000 Euros.
The newspaper also reveal that Liverpool have tracked Wijnaldum, 25, ever since he was at Feyenoord's academy as a teenager.
