Liverpool have been linked with a shock move for a Middlesbrough star, while Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City also feature heavily in today’s tansfer headlines.

On the Sunderland front, young defender Michael Ledger has been training with Norweigan side Viking.

Ledger, whose contract is up at the end of the season, says he’d rather stay at Sunderland but is keeping his options open.
