'We're steeled for Blades clash' - Jonas

JONAS Gutierrez is confident Newcastle United put the disappointments of Glanford Park and the City Ground behind them when they visit Bramall Lane.

Newcastle go into Monday night's televised game at Sheffield United looking for a first away win in three games.

While Newcastle were far from their best in the defeats at Scunthorpe United and Nottingham Forest, Gutierrez felt they created enough chances to win each game.

However, both teams – and their fans – raised their games, with Chris Hughton's league leading side the Championship's prize scalp.

And the winger said: "Everybody wants to beat us. Everywhere we will go that will be the case, it will give teams a famous result.

"For us, we want three points everywhere we go, because we know it can keep us at the top of the league.

"(After) some of the games we have lost, it has been difficult to tell people we have lost, because we've played well and you can't believe what you are saying.

"We have been creating a lot of opportunities in the last few matches and been causing problems.

"When we have conceded goals it has been difficult, because it can be

frustrating when you concede and don't take your chances.

"We know that when we aren't in control in games, we have to keep the ball. If we do that, we will create more opportunities to score.

"We are supposed to be the big team in the Championship, so we have to keep it better.

"Other teams are looking to hit us on the counter and break quickly, so we have to be aware of it. We just need to keep going really.

"Playing the way we have in the majority of games, we'll win more than

we lose."
