Arsenal missing a whole team for Sunderland trip
ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger could be missing an entire team of players for Saturday's trip to Sunderland.
The Frenchman has been left sweating over yet another injury concern after Kieran Gibbs was substituted during the first half of England Under-21s' European Championship qualifier in Lithuania last night.
Gibbs is the 11th member of Arsenal's first-team squad to join the injured list, and the full extent of the left-back's injury will be assessed on his return to London.
Robin van Persie last week added to the Gunners' absentee list with an ankle injury sustained in Holland's friendly with Italy, while Nicklas Bendtner (groin), Gael Clichy, Denilson (both back) and Abou Diaby (calf) are all out.
Johan Djourou (knee) is a long-term absentee, while Jack Wilshere, Lukasz Fabianski, Theo Walcott, Armand Traore and Carlos Vela have all suffered recent injuries and are yet to return to full fitness.
