SUNDERLAND have officially confirmed the departure of striker Louis Saha.
The 34 year old striker’s contract with the Black Cats was ended by mutual consent.
The former French international made two starts and a total of 14 appearances in the league and cup since joining the club in the summer of 2012.
Sunderland AFC chief executive Margaret Byrne said: “We wish Louis all the very best for the future and thank him for his contribution to Sunderland.”
Saha took to Twitter: “I can now officially say that SunderlandAfc and I find a mutual agreement to terminate my contract. I want to thank fans, players and staff.”
