Hebburn CC head into tomorrow’s game against Warenford positive that they can overturn a bad run of form and get back to winning ways.

Hebburn had a perfect start to the season winning their first five games, but have since only won one in five with their promotion push taking a hit.

However, despite the poor form, Hebburn are still within touching distance of the top two.

Batting has certainly let Hebburn down and several of the top order will hope to hit form.

Ian Younger and Aidan Berry are available.

Hebburn’s bowlers have been clinical this season with Nick Whitehead passing 20 wickets for the season, with Younger not far behind.

Hebburn Second XI travel to Monkseaton on Sunday on the back of a promising defeat last weekend.

They will look to turn that luck around with victory on Sunday, but they are missing bowler Andy Watson.

David Todd and Brian Watson will look to fill the void with the new ball.

Ali Raza will hope to pass 200 runs for the season with a big score.
