Hebburn trio hailed for good displays

A TRIO of Hebburn cricketers have been recognised after displaying some fine form.

The team, who play in the Northumberland League, didn't enjoy the best of starts to the current campaign, but are starting to turn in a number of good performances.

One such display saw Aidan Berry take a hat-trick in Hebburn's Division One clash with Heaton Park.

Berry returned superb figures of 4-25 from his eight overs, and was awarded a special trophy by team sponsors Marine Scaffolding for his efforts.

Other players to shine recently included Lee Tatum and Lee Buglass, both of who were centurions against Stobswood.

Tatum weighed in 108, while Buglass was undefeated on 123.
