In-form Peter has new goal target
IN-form Peter Lovenkrands has already passed his goal target for the season.
But the Newcastle United striker – who took his tally for the season to 12 goals with a brace against Barnsley last Saturday – isn't planning on easing up.
And Lovenkrands – who hopes to lead the line away to Middlesbrough tomorrow – is confident he can carry on scoring with the help of strike partner Andy Carroll.
The 30-year-old had set himself the target of getting into double figures when he rejoined the club last September, and he's keen to add some away goals to his name, having, up to now, only found the net at St James's Park.

"I'm already past my target," Lovenkrands told the Gazette. "I'm just so happy with the way it's going now – I don't want to be greedy.
"I want to take it as it comes, and, of course, hopefully get some more goals under my belt.
"As I've always said, the most important thing is getting the three points, but, at the start of the season, you want to get into double figures as a striker, and I'm there now.
"I'm happy with that, but you want to keep going and get as many as possible.
"It's a fun wee battle for top goalscorer with Andy, me and Kevin Nolan, and Shola Ameobi's not far behind. It's quite tight, and that makes it all the more exciting."
Lovenkrands is now keen to make his mark away from home, starting at the Riverside Stadium.
"I haven't played much away from home," said Lovenkrands. "It's different tactics – we've been playing Kevin a bit more up there.
"It would be great to score, and it's going to be an exciting game, but I don't care if I score or not so long as we get the three points."
