Kid Kadar hopes for another chance
TAMAS Kadar had a trying afternoon at the Riverside Stadium.
But the teenager is ready to go again against Scunthorpe United at St James's Park tonight.
However, if the defender drops down to the bench, there won't be any complaints.
Kadar – who is on standby to face Nigel Adkins's side with Fabricio Coloccini doubtful with a dead leg – was up against it in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough as Gordon Strachan's side took the game to their visitors.

However, the 19-year-old has dusted himself off, and is ready to deputise for Coloccini, if selected.
"I don't know what is happening with Colo," Kadar told the Gazette. "I'll see what's happening, and if I get a chance, I'll be happy
"The fans are brilliant everywhere, and I like to play in front of them. It's good if Chris (Hughton) gives me a chance, but if I don't play, I'll be happy too."
Newcastle were far from their best in the Tees-Tyne derby, but they still salvaged a point from a 2-2 draw thanks to Andy Carroll's late equaliser.
And Kadar – who came off the bench in the 6-1 thrashing of 10-man Barnsley last time out at St James's Park – is confident the league leaders can maintain their form at home, where they are unbeaten all season.
"I'm pleased I played (against Boro), he added. "I need the games because I'm a young player, but it's not happening every time.
"This time we're playing at home, and we need to focus on this game. Hopefully, we can play better at home."
Hughton, meanwhile, earmarked Kadar as an important squad player in pre-season along with Nile Ranger, Kazenga LuaLua and Ryan Donaldson.
Hughton said: "He's learning every game. We picked out a few players at the start of the season who would be in a lot of the squads, and Tamas and Nile have been in more than the other two we mentioned, Ryan Donaldson and Kazenga LuaLua.
"Tamas and Nile have had opportunities, and it's great experience for them."
