More cup heartache for Boldon

BOLDON suffered cup heartache for the second weekend in succession when they lost 3-1 at New Marske.

Stephen Barker and Shane Erskine fired the Seasiders into a two-goal lead by the 27th minute, but when Kris Robertson converted a penalty on the hour, the result was wide open.

Boldon pushed for an equaliser, but were hit on the break with just two minutes remaining as Shaun Howes ran from the halfway line and beat goalkeeper Andrew Hunter with a superb individual effort.
