Faustino Asprilla's brutal verdict on Steve McClaren's future at Newcastle
Faustino Asprilla has called for Newcastle United head coach Steve McClaren to be sacked.
Asprilla has voiced his disapproval of McClaren, who is under intense pressure at St James's Park with the club deep in relegation trouble.
The retired striker – who spent two years at Newcastle in the late 1990s – gave his verdict on Twitter.
Asprilla tweeted: "McLaren needs to go; PERIOD!"
The 46-year-old yesterday tweeted a video of himself riding a hoverboard dressed as a dinosaur.
