Rain means it's as you were for Hebburn
HEBBURN had to settle for a draw in Northumberland League Division Two against Ulgham Village after a waterlogged square prevented a ball being bowled.
The rest of the league fixtures were also abandoned due to the weather.
So the league table stays as it was, with Hebburn leading the way in pole position.
Tillside sit in second close behind the South Tynesiders, with only a four-point margin separating them from the summit.
Meanwhile, further back in third are Ulgham Village, who now need to win on the final day of the season and hope that one of the top two lose to force their way into the promotion places.
Of the top three sides Hebburn have the most difficult final-day fixture against New Hartley, who until the last month were promotion contenders.
Tillside and Ulgham will play the bottom two sides, so Hebburn know there is still a lot of hard work to do.
Captain Lee Tatum said: "The final day promises to be very exciting.
"We're in a good position now, but we all know it's about where you finish on Saturday evening."
