Transfer rumours: Thursday, September 24

ARSENAL, Bolton, Wigan, Fulham, Juventus and AC Milan are among the clubs making today's headlines.

Bolton defender Gary Cahill is being tracked by Italian giants Juventus following a glowing reference from England boss Fabio Capello. AC Milan are also interested in the 23-year-old.(Daily Mirror)

Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has slammed Arsene Wenger for his pursuit of Marouane Chamakh. The Morocco striker was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal over the summer. The Gunners had a bid turned down for Chamakh and boss Wenger has already hinted he might make another offer in the winter transfer window. (Daily Mail)

Bolton manager Gary Megson says he is not prepared to sell striker Johan Elmander, despite a disappointing record in front of goal and the arrival of loan signing from Nantes, Ivan Klasnic, this summer.

Wigan manager Roberto Martinez will decide today whether to offer a contract to Cameroon midfielder Modeste M'Bami, who has been on trial with the club since the start of the season.

Olivier Dacourt has signed a one-year deal with Belgian side Standard Liege. The former Leeds midfielder, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Fulham, has been a free agent since his contract with Inter Milan ran out in the summer. (The Sun)
