Whiteleas and Harton CC returned to winning ways with a comprehensive victory over Boldon CA.

Electing to bat first, Leas raced out of the blocks reaching 20 from four overs before Andrew Potts was bowled by Kumarasamy.

Skipper Owen Peterson then joined Ray McRae at the crease and the visitors were put to the sword with an outstanding 212-run partnership.

In a knock which included 14 fours and one six, Peterson reached 100 in the 43rd over, before being run out.

McRae (106no) then continued his fantastic run of form with his maiden club century, a classy knock which saw eleven fours, before a declaration occurred in the 45th – Leas posting 232.

Once again, overseas star Abdul Ameer was the hero with the ball for the home side as he ripped through the CA batting.

Returning figures of 5-35, the Pakistani paceman was too hot to handle for the visitors as they struggled to gather any momentum.

Some accurate line and length bowling at the other end from Steve Martin (3-8) cleaned up the tail as Boldon were all out for 69, as Leas picked up 30 points in the process.

The second XI made it 10 wins on the bounce following a straight forward victory at Boldon CA.

Electing to bowl first, opening pair Ryan Hale (4-28) and Sid Corner (3-32) were too much for the home side as they were bowled out for 102.

Despite the loss of two early wickets, Leas reached their target after 22 overs, maintaining their spot at the top of the league.
