THE world’s biggest boyband is coming to a South Shields theatre – via the big screen.
The Customs House, in Mill Dam, will be showing One Direction: Where We Are – The Concert Film as part of a special screening.
Global pop superstars One Direction are bringing their epic world tour to cinemas across the world for just one weekend, on October 11 and 12, giving fans the chance to see the live show on the big screen for the first time.
Set to be released in more than 50 countries with more than 10,000 screenings over one weekend, One Direction: Where We Are – The Concert Film will give fans the opportunity to join Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis on their sell-out world tour.
Angela Hannon, audience development co-ordinator at the Customs House, said: “This is a great idea so every fan can have the opportunity to enjoy the concert – whether it’s for the first time or to re-live the highlights with friends.”
Recorded at the iconic San Siro stadium in Milan from the sell-out Italian leg of the tour, the one-off cinema event features all of One Direction’s biggest hits from What Makes You Beautiful, to Story Of My Life.
Before the concert, fans will also get the chance to go behind the scenes with a 15 minute never-before-seen interview with the band, with exclusive backstage tour footage.
Tickets cost £8. To book, go to www.customhouse.co.uk or call the box office on 454 1234.
