LITTLE Mix have revealed the name of their new album.
The X Factor-winning group, featuring South Shields girls Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, told fans on Twitter that their second studio album will be called Salute.
Fans of the group, known as ‘Mixers’, were also told that they can pre-order the album from Monday.
The band, which also stars Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, recently revealed that the first single from the album, called Move, would be released on November 3, and the song has already made a big impression over the airwaves.
Band member Jade, from Laygate, South Shields, tweeted a hand-drawn wordsearch to the group’s four million followers, saying it included the name of the album, and the band was quickly inundated with excited responses.
Fellow member Leigh-Anne then tweeted: “YAYYY You can pre-order Salute on Monday! If you like Move you’ll love it – we can’t wait for you to hear.”
Jade then tweeted another wordsearch which revealed the tracklisting of the album, which features 12 tracks, most of which have been written by the girls themselves.
Fans tweeted their excitement to the band, who became the first girl group to win the X Factor in 2011, after they were put together by the judges during the audition stages of the ITV talent show.
@itsmypartayyy tweeted: “I wish I could pre-order right now. I’m too excited to wait!”

The girls’ debut album, DNA, released last November, hit the charts around the world, reaching No3 in the UK.
It saw the band make history in the US by becoming the highest charting girl band with a debut album, after reaching No4.
The record was previously held by the Spice Girls.
