VIDEO: Little Mix take on Ice Bucket Challenge

Waiting for Video...

LITTLE Mix “took it like women” when buckets of icy water were poured over their heads.

The girlband took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge as well as making a donation to the charity.

The girls, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, from South Shields, and Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, nominated fellow music stars Jessie J, Jess Glynne and Cher Lloyd to brave the cold.

Also dubbed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the stunt was started to promote the ALS Association which raised money for research and patient services as well as promoting awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which is also known as motor neurone disease.

People taking part in the challenge are also encouraged to make a donation to the charity.
