HERE’S Chris Ramsey relaxing backstage before his charity gig.

The comedian, from South Shields, is at the Customs House tonight alongside a line-up of his showbiz pals.

The event, at the Mill Dam venue, is raising money for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent, in memory of his young cousin, Jack Leggett, who died from a brain tumour at just nine-years-old.

Ramsey will be joined on stage by Hebburn creator Jason Cook, Jarrow comic Carl Hutchinson, Al Murray, best known for his character the Pub Landlord, Lindisfarne’s Billy Mitchell and a mystery music superstar.

But before the show, the performers sat backstage and chatted.
