DANCE stars are promising to be Strictly on their best behaviour when they visit South Tyneside.
Fans of hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing are being urged to hot-foot it to the Customs House to get tickets for one of next year’s must-see shows at the venue.
An Evening with the Stars of Strictly Come Dancing is back at the theatre, in Mill Dam, South Shields, after selling out twice earlier this year.
The event, which stars the show’s Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas, will take place on Sunday, June 8.
Pasha is currently dancing with Countdown’s Rachel Riley. The last two years he has been runner-up dancing with Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh and Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey.
Pasha’s professional partner on the show was Katya and their partnership has continued despite her leaving the show last year.
Katya is best known for dancing with cricketer Phil Tufnell and rugby star Gavin Henson.
Customs House marketing consultant Peter Darrant said: “Last year’s shows were absolutely fantastic and we’re thrilled to have Pasha and Katya back with us.
“This show will be even bigger and better with all the glitz and glam you’d expect from a Strictly show. Pasha and Katya will be joined by four guest dancers and demonstrating a series of stunning dance routines in equally beautiful costumes.
“They will be accompanied by a full audio-visual backdrop and light show, the ever enjoyable question and answer section plus an appearance by a local dance school.
“The show will also feature the opportunity for the audience to get involved and dance on-stage with the stars – this production has to be the ultimate show for any Strictly fan!
“If you want your tickets to see this strictly super show or want to pick up the perfect Christmas present for any fan, you’d better grab your tickets now before they all waltz off!”
