BIGGEST Loser Kevin McLernon is going on the road to share his secrets.

The property developer, from South Shields, who won ITV1’s The Biggest Loser, has teamed up with personal trainer Katie Bulmer-Cooke to share their weight-loss secrets on a UK-wide tour.

Kevin, 38, who now lives in Seaburn, Sunderland, went on the show – a weight-loss contest – with his niece, Amy, 23, of Rekendyke, South Shields, who finished the show in second place.

The Secrets of Success Tour will open with a talk from Kevin, discussing his weight-loss journey as part of The Biggest Loser and beyond.

Katie will then lead a total tone-up group workout followed by a question and answer session with both Katie and Kevin. The event will close with another workout featuring the pair.

Kevin was the heaviest ever competitor on the show, tipping the scales at 32st 2lbs.

He lost an incredible 40 per cent of his body weight, dropping to 19st 4lb.

He said: “I met Katie a little while ago when she came to my home to record an interview with me as part of her monthly newsletter. When Katie told me about her plans for the Secrets of Success Tour, I immediately wanted to get involved.

“It’s going to be a great event, and I hope to see as many people there as possible.”

Mum-of-one Katie, from Ashbrooke, Sunderland, was named International Fitness Showcase Personal Trainer of the Year 2012.

She said: “I’m often contacted by people up and down the country asking for health and fitness advice.

“Rather than simply telling them what to do in an e-mail or Facebook message, I thought I would go on the road and physically show these people the secrets of success.

“It doesn’t matter about your fitness level, there is something for everyone with the tour. The main thing is you turn up, get all this great fitness and nutrition advice, and begin your journey to a happier and healthier you.”

The tour will stop in Sunderland on Sunday, June 24, at The Alexandra in Queen Alexandra Road, Grangetown, between 1pm and 4pm.

Tickets cost £29.99. To book, visit www.katiebulmer.com/tour
