A South Tyneside band is hoping to get everyone dancing when they take to the stage tomorrow.
Rivelino will hit the bandstand of South Marine Park at 2pm as weekly afternoon music sessions at the park continue.
The event is being sponsored by Friends of Marine Park – a group of volunteers who help look after the park.
It will be the second time the band, who are well-known on the pub circuit, will have played at the popular tourist attraction.
Band member Neil James Joseph Todd said: “The band are playing in the park for the second year running and we would love to see as many people as possible down there.
“Our set list includes 1950s rock and roll, 1960s soul and mowtown, 70s funk and singalong, pop from the 80s and indie and chart hits from the 90s to present day – there is something there for everyone.”
