These are the 10 areas in and around South Tyneside with the highest number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people recorded in the seven days leading up to Tuesday, October 13, according to official data.
The case rate take into account the number of people living in each area, compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus.
The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
