Court roundup: The latest cases dealt with at South Tyneside Magistrates' Court
Dylan Ford, 18, of Felton Avenue, South Shields, was given a 12-month conditional discharge after admitting a charge of using threatening, insulting or abusive words or behaviour to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, at Temple Park Leisure Centre, John Reid Road, South Shields, on Wednesday, April 6.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £15 victim surcharge.

Hide AdJordan Martin, 21, of Wouldhave Court, South Shields, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 compensation after admitting stealing a Microsoft Lumia mobile phone valued at £150 in South Tyneside on Friday, February 12.
