A South Tyneside councillor’s bid to overturn an 18-month driving ban has been adjourned.
Cleadon and East Boldon ward member Jeff Milburn was convicted of failing to provide a breath specimen at South Tyneside Magistrate’s court last January.
He denied the charge, but was convicted after trial, and handed the ban alongside a 12-month community order as well as being ordered to pay £620 costs and a £90 surcharge.
