Glen Jones is now more than £800 out of pocket after he admitted causing criminal damage to his victim’s Hebburn home.
South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court was told that his actions caused an unknown amount of damage to the bathroom’s floorboards and the ceiling beneath.

Hide AdJones, 50, of Dunelm Street, South Shields, also pleaded guilty to an additional charge of harassment after calling her and attending her home on a number of occasions.
He was fined £560, ordered to pay a £56 victim surcharge and another £200 towards the Crown Prosecution Service’s costs in bringing the case to court.
The bathroom flooding, which Jones initially pleaded not guilty to, took place on February 21 this year.
The harassment charge involved incidents between February 20 and February 24.

Hide AdA restraining order was also made by the court for the next 12 months.
It prevents Jones from contacting the woman, who the Gazette has decided not to name, “directly or indirectly by any means whatsoever” or to instruct a third party to do so.
He is also forbidden from mentioning her on any form of social media, from entering two named streets in Hebburn or any address where he knowingly believes she is living either on a permanent or a temporary basis.
The court gave him credit for his guilty pleas when considering his sentence and ordered him to begin paying his £816 debt at a rate of £50 a month from October 1.
