The group has carried out numerous sting operations across the region which have led to convictions.
Its evidence was enough for Hussain to be arrested and hauled into court, where he pleaded guilty to three sex charges.
Prosecutor Jonathan Hanratty told magistrates in South Tyneside: “This case involves a child decoy. It’s the Guardians of the North.

Hide Ad“There’s various chats between the two. The defendant sends the decoy seven videos of a sexual nature."
The prosecutor told the court that Hussain asked ‘for photos of a sexual nature of her breasts’.
The prosecutor added: “He told her, ‘Let me kiss your lips’, and to meet and undertake the specific offence.”
Hussain pleaded guilty to causing a child aged 13 to 15 to watch or look at an image of sexual activity for his own sexual gratification.

Hide AdHe also admitted inciting a girl of the same age to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity, and to arranging or facilitating sexual activity with a child.
The offences happened in South Tyneside between January 1 and October 23 last year.
Syed Ahmed, defending, said: “This is a matter that has to go to the crown court.”
District Judge Kathryn Meek ordered a Probation Service report be compiled into Hussain’s offending.

Hide AdShe made him subject to the Sex Offender Register, which compels him within three days to report to police in South Shields.
Hussain must supply them with personal details, including his date of birth, address, national insurance number and passport.
He will be sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court on Friday, January 8.
Hussain, who has no previous convictions, was granted bail on condition he cooperates with the Probation Service and lives and sleeps at his home address.
