A South Tyneside man has appeared in court accused of a sex attack on a girl.
Michael Barber, 72, of Lincoln Way, Jarrow, is accused of inciting the girl to engage in sexual activity.
He pleaded not guilty when he appeared at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.

Hide AdHis case was adjourned and sent to Newcastle Crown Court, where he will appear on March 10.
Barber was granted bail on condition he resides at his home address and does not contact prosecution witnesses.
