Mixed reaction online as Mike Ashley offers to hand out free jackets if Newcastle United beat West Ham
The Sports Direct owner has promised that anybody who registers for the giveaway on Sports Direct’s Facebook page will receive the Everlast top, that the firm claims are worth £59.99 each.
There has been a mixed reaction on social media to the offer.

Hide AdSome people are saying they are hopeful of getting a freebie while others have questioned the value of the jackets and brought up the recent news articles concerning working conditions at the company's shops and warehouses.
Jennie Formby wrote on the firm's Facebook page: "You can give away all the jackets you like, won't repair your reputation #zerohours #SportsDirectShame."

A post on Sports Direct's Facebook page states that the giveaway would be worth £2.5million.
Mr Ashley, who owns Newcastle United, had originally vowed to give away the jackets if Newcastle beat Manchester United. The game finished in a draw.
