And its launch by the club last night has certainly sparked a reaction from Black Cats across the region.
The pink and purple strip, with purple socks and shorts, prompted both negative and positive comments - with many drawing comparison between the kit's colour scheme and the Alice in Wonderland Cheshire cat.
